Develop seasonal campaigns to increase traffic and sales to the company’s 32 brick and mortar locations and eCommerce website. Oversee the concept creation and execution of advertising campaigns for mass media (TV/Radio/Outdoor/Print and Digital). Consult and assist the web/dev team with the “mobile-first” redesign and user experience of Manage, mentor and give direction to the in-house design team.


UX/UI Designer & Art Director
DESERET BOOK 2010-2013

Responsible for creating simple and intuitive user experiences for web and mobile applications. Coordinated with multiple stakeholders to develop the branding, and UX/UI design for several mobile applications. Designed, developed and led the implementation of multiple websites. Oversaw the roll out of a company wide rebranding which included print and digital touch points. Led the art direction of all projects for the company’s in-house design agency including the marketing campaigns for several New York Times bestsellers and #1 Billboard chart toppers.


Senior Web Designer & Front-End Developer
DESERET BOOK 2006-2010

Established design standards and assited with the strategy for all of Deseret Book’s marketing emails which accounted for 85% of all site traffic. Designed the interface and developed the front-end (HTML, CSS, Javascript) for all of the company’s websites as well as a healthy host of mini-sites and landing pages. Created prototypes and assisted with usability testing. Designed and developed several animated eCards using Flash and Actionscript.


Web Designer / Graphic Designer 
LDS LIVING 2004-2005

Designed, coded, and curated the daily email newsletter. Maintained and enhanced the companies eCommerce site. Designed all print and web marketing pieces for the company. Flight checked the LDSLiving Magazine and assisted clients by designing advertisements.
